Collection: Ed Paschke
Chicago painter, Ed Paschke (1939 - 2004) was a Pop Art practitioner with a keenly dark edge. He is part of the group of artists known as the Chicago Imagists who combined a pop sensibility with imagery from outsider art, Surrealism and non-Western art. He based his works on pop culture images taken from print and electronic media, reinterpreting them with garish, brilliant, acid-tone colors and exaggerated forms.
