Edwin Deakin

Artist Edwin Deakin (1838-1923) was Born in England but moved to California in 1870. It was here that he established his studio, and he became a highly regarded painter of California's early architecture, particularly missions. He also painted landscapes in Europe and California, and produced lavish still-lifes of fruit and flowers.
