Etienne Meneau (b. 1955) is a painter, sculptor and photographer from Bordeaux, France. Of his profession, he says, My work turns around geometry and nature, I love to put some flesh on geometrical shapes...that's why vegetal life interests me." In addition to his root-like glass sculptures, he is known for a heart-shaped glass carafe that abstractly represents the heart's atriums and ventricles. He has a large body of work that studies the bowl form, both drawings and oils, and numerous large sculptures.
