Collection: H. C. Westermann

Horace Clifford (H.C.) Westermann (1922-1981) displayed an interest and talent in art at a young age. He once submitted drawings to the Disney Studios, who were so impressed by his skill that they offered him a job on the spot. The offer was quickly rescinded when they discovered he was just a child! An interesting character, Westermann was an avid acrobat with a habit of walking on his hands at odd times. A friend of his once said, “At times it seemed that I got to see the soles of his shoes as much as I did of his face."
