Collection: Louis Comfort Tiffany
Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933) was the son of Charles Tiffany, who
founded Tiffany & Company jewelers. Instead of taking over the family
business, Louis became an artist, first studying painting but then excelling
in the creation of decorative objects. His virtuosity in working with glass
brought him great success and renown. He was assisted by a cadre of
talented artisans, and his Tiffany Studios created gorgeous design objects,
stained glass windows, and home décor items during the early part of the
20th century.
